We are a company that repairs and services smartphones, computers and tablets. Products we repair but are not limited to are iPhones, iPads, Samsung Mobiles and MacBook computers. Alongside our repair services, we offer a large range of quality cases, screen protectors and USB cables. We also help our customers with free basic advice and support for their products.
CellCity was founded in 2010. Working from home the managing director Dan Hooper serviced and repaired peoples iPhones, iPods and iPads. With demand growing and the space in the apartment diminishing, he was forced to find other premises to carry out his services.
That is when the first store was opened in 2013 at 107 Vivian St. It quickly became the go-to place for iPhone repairs. After 18 months of being open, Dan could see people were travelling from Lower Hutt. So to make it easier for the customers another branch was opened in 2014 opposite Queensgate mall at 91 Queens Drive Lower Hutt. Another store was opened in 2016 in the Wellington CBD at 18 Panama St between Lambton Quay and Featherston St.
We know what we are doing. It’s as simple as that. We have had many years in the industry and we have seen it all. After years of testing, trials and errors we have got it right so you don’t have to worry.
We offer the best available parts on the market, trained staff, trusted name and a warranty to back it all up.
We have seen some real horror stories. We have seen repair stores come and go. Why are we are still here? It’s because we take pride in our work and take care of our customers. Get it done and get it done right!
All our discarded screens, batteries and parts are recycled and/or disposed correctly. By repairing your device instead of buying a new one, you’re doing your part to keep the planet cleaner and greener, and we’re happy to be able to say that we can contribute to that.
If CellCity proceeds with a repair as per direct communications with you (the customer), you will be liable for paying for the service in full and/or the minimum service charge.
In the event that you cannot be contacted after 60 days from service completion and/or assessment, CellCity will reserve the right to discard your device.
Any charges owing by you under these Terms & Conditions may be billed directly to your account.
CellCity will not be held liable for phones lost or damaged in transit by courier.
Cellcity will not be liable for any data loss occurring during the repair of your device.
Cellcity Limited will not be held responsible for any damage to the item I have left with them. Not all repairs/unlocking can be successful.
* General Repair – Devices repaired by CellCity will include a 90-day warranty for parts and/or services used from the date of completion of the service.
** Special Repair – Notwithstanding issues arising subsequent to repair or assessment, CellCity will not be liable for the refund of any deposits or monies paid in the event that a device is proven to have sustained impact damage, liquid damage and/or is a dead device as detailed below.
Devices found to have sustained liquid or impact damage, and devices deemed ‘dead on arrival’ (DOA), will not be covered by the standard 90-day CellCity part and/or service warranty.
Liquid Damage: Where evidence of moisture, whether caused by liquid, solid or gas, is apparent on or within the device.
Impact Damage: Where evidence of physical damage caused by external force is apparent on or within the device.
